My dad passed away in 2001, but my brother recently got his hands on a box of slides. Inside the box are hundreds of slides - photos my dad took over the years between about 1960 and the early 70s. My dad enjoyed photography. He used an Olympus camera (though I'm not sure if he used a different camera in the early days). He was stationed in Okinawa during the Vietnam war and many of the photos are from his time in the service.
It is A GIFT to find all this years later, and to be able to go through them. It's like discovering buried treasure. Do your own kids and grandkids the favor and print your photography from time to time... don't just leave it on hard drives.
I'll be adding more photos over time as I go through and scan them...
